Every piece at Sonoma Restorations™ comes down to the maker—skilled hands that know the weight of a stave, the grain of oak, the strength of barnwood, the give of iron.
That knowledge isn’t quick. It’s earned in workshops where mistakes teach and repetition builds mastery. The result: lasting history, artful detail, strong joinery—pieces built to last.

Close to the source
Since our start in Sonoma County—reclaiming wine barrels and winery byproducts—we’ve grown into workshops across the country. Each one works close to the source, applying craft to local materials. Whiskey barrels from Kentucky are shaped in our Kentucky and Virginia shops. Ranching iron and barnwood from the Rockies are reworked in Wyoming.
By keeping materials local—sourcing, crafting, and shipping direct—we cut waste and emissions while holding onto the character of the land itself.

Pride in Every Detail
Our artisans don’t chase trends or mass production. They work with integrity—choosing the right fastener for the job, welding steel to last, or wiring a light fixture with care that outlives a season. These details matter because the spaces you build matter.
