Why Reclaimed Wood Shelves Belong in Your Space
Shelving should do more than hold items—it should add presence to the room. Our reclaimed wood shelves are crafted from authentic oak flooring, paired with new iron pipe for strength and lasting durability. Each design carries the marks of its past life while being engineered for modern use. From industrial bookcases and floating wall displays to bar carts, hall trees, and cabinets, these shelves balance rugged character with functional performance. Reinforced with new brackets and fasteners, they’re built to hold more than weight—they hold your story.

about our Reclaimed Wood Shelves
Reclaimed wood furniture is built from lumber salvaged from existing structures and retired materials, then milled and crafted into new pieces. It keeps usable wood in circulation, reduces waste, and often leverages tight-grained, older stock. Natural marks and patina remain, so every piece carries real history and one-of-a-kind character.
Both are responsible choices. Reclaimed wood typically carries a lower footprint because it reuses existing material and avoids harvesting new trees. FSC-certified wood ensures new lumber comes from responsibly managed forests. Our approach does both things right: reclaim first, finish with low-VOC products, source locally when possible, and give back through ongoing environmental commitments.
-De-nail & prep: Remove embedded metal; clean and inspect.
-Stabilize: Treat or kiln as needed based on material.
-Sand lightly: Smooth working surfaces while preserving character.
-Tone (optional): Apply stain only when the design calls for it.
-Seal: We use Pure Tung Oil on wood (our indoor standard), with hand-rubbed coats for depth and protection. We use a marine grade Spar Varnish on our outdoor products for increased water durrablility.
The price reflects the time and skill required to do it right: careful salvage and sourcing; de-nailing and metal detection; cleaning, grading, and kiln-drying/pest treatment; milling irregular boards with custom setups; precise joinery; hand finishing with cure time; and rigorous QA with protective packing. The result is furniture that’s solid, stable, and uniquely yours—built to last.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills promptly with a barely damp, lint-free cloth; avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives. Keep away from prolonged moisture and direct heat/sun. For oiled finishes, refresh with a light coat of Pure Tung Oil as needed (typically 1–2×/year indoors).
Yes. Our tables use solid joinery and reinforced hardware. Many designs include adjustable leveling feet for uneven floors.
Expect authentic character—grain, color, and small marks will vary. The design and dimensions match the product page; the material’s look will be uniquely yours.
Options include narrow, standard, and wide widths; low, medium, and tall heights; and multiple shelf counts. Some models feature adjustable shelves. Exact specs are listed on each product page.
Capacity varies by design, width, and shelf spacing. See the product page for guidance. For best results, distribute weight evenly and anchor tall units using the included anti-tip hardware.
Most bookcases are intended for indoor use. Only models labeled for outdoor environments should be placed outside; they require periodic maintenance and weather protection.
Most ship mostly assembled with pre-drilled guides and included hardware. Basic tools may be needed; instructions are in the box and on the product page.
Typical build time is 10-15 business days, then standard transit is 3–7 business days depending on delivery location.

We do not offer one-off custom builds. Our designs are standardized for quality and safety, while the reclaimed material ensures each piece has its own character.
Built by American artisans in small workshops, with final QA led from Sonoma County.

True Craftsmanship
Built here by American hands from wine barrels, whiskey barrels, and reclaimed oak flooring. Boards are matched for grain, jointed and planed dead-flat, through-holes epoxy-filled, then bolted with new structural steel hardware. Finished clean so the wood speaks. The result: reclaimed wood tables built for nightly use in game rooms and home bars.
